1. WHAT INFORMATION WE COLLECT
Creating an account at Brandimpressions is voluntary. If you create an account with Brandimpressions , you will be asked to share certain personally identifiable information (PII) such as your name, address, phone number, email address, username, password and company of employment (“Information”). We also collect the physical and/or email address of your Recipients that you register. If you decide to provide Information, you are telling us that this Information is both true and accurate, and that you are authorized to provide it to Brandimpressions and our third party Marketplace vendors involved in fulfilling your orders.
Brandimpressions collects Information about you in other ways, including when you send an E-Gift, place an order, or when you visit the Website.
We may also collect Information automatically using cookie technology or web beacons to capture your location or IP address when you visit our website or social media pages. From time to time, Brandimpressions may also contact you via email, postal mail, or phone to conduct questionnaires and surveys. Survey Information is treated like Information. If you contact us by phone for customer assistance, such calls may be recorded for quality assurance and training purposes.
2. HOW WE USE INFORMATION WE COLLECT
We use the Information you supply for the purpose of providing the Services you have requested and as described in this Policy.
Our Third Party Vendors. In the instances where third party suppliers are producing, customizing, fulfilling or otherwise servicing your orders, Brandimpressions will only share artwork you upload for customization, gift message copy you provide for printed or handwritten gift cards, and recipient addresses. We do not share email addresses, payment information, account details or passwords.
Our Third Party Payment Processors. We use a third party to process you billing Information and credit card Information to process your order or as otherwise described in this Policy.
Providing and Improving Services. To improve and customize our Services for you and other users, we use your Information to understand how our Services are being used to identify areas of improvement and to evolve our Marketplace and Gifting Platform experiences.
Keeping Services Secure. We may collect, analyze or share your information to ensure security of our Services, our users, prevent harm to individuals or property, prevent damage to our Services, systems, staff, business partners and third parties, and to enhance the protection of our customers and gift recipients against spam, abuse, harassment, crime, IP infringement or fraud. We also use your information to provide and improve services for identification and authentication, billing and payments, customer service and aggregate reporting.
Facilitating Services and Transactions. Our Platform and Marketplace support the delivery of production, customization, warehousing and fulfillment Services between Brandimpressions, its customers and vendors. To provide such Services, we facilitate the sharing of information relevant to provision of Services including Personally Identifiable Information such as name, email, billing and shipping addresses. This can also involve sharing information with third party payment processors, shipping carriers and fulfillment partners. Such partners will process your information in compliance with their respective Privacy and Security Policies. In some instances, these partners, not Brandimpressions, will be responsible for the protection of your personal information. By using Brandimpressions Services, you are directing us and consenting to the provision of your information to relevant third parties and partners as required to fulfill requested Services. These third parties have a limited license to use any personal information provided by CorporateGift to CorporateGift-related communications or transactions. CorporateGift does not grant license to use your personal information for unauthorized transactions, unsolicited communication, advertising, or any other use without your consent.
We respect your privacy. Brandimpressions will not disclose your name, email address, or other personal information to third parties without your consent, except as specified in this policy.
3. ACCESS TO & CHOICES ABOUT YOUR INFORMATION
You may choose to: (1) stop receiving promotional materials by mail, phone, or email; (2) access, review, confirm, update or correct your personal Information; or (3) disable your account. To carry out any of these choices, simply contact Brandimpressions , as set forth herein. You may unsubscribe from marketing emails from us by visiting the Communication Preferences page.
The security of your personal information is important to us. Our Marketplace and Gifting Platform is ISO 27001 compliant. ISO 27001 certification was conducted by an accredited certification body, and ensures we adhere to international standards for information security management and data protection. Brandimpressions has established technical, administrative, and physical security measures to protect against unauthorized access or use of your Information, and to support the secure data transmission of payment information (such as credit card numbers and bank transfers) using encryption and PCI compliance within our checkout Service. As no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, we cannot guarantee the absolute security of any Information you send to us and you do so at your own risk.
Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their password and account, as well as setting strong passwords, updating passwords regularly, and signing out of services when not in use in any shared or insecure environment. Users are responsible for activities that occur under their account and should immediately notify Brandimpressions of any unauthorized use of their account.
Brandimpressions is not responsible for the policies and practices of third party websites or our Marketplace vendors. If you have questions regarding the privacy policies of any vendor in our Marketplace, please contact us.
Brandimpressions Gifting Platform
Our Gifting Platform uses enterprise-class security and HTTPS encryption. We adhere to third-party testing, compliance audits and security best practices to ensure your data is always protected against security threats and breaches. We continuously monitor and test our application and environment for vulnerabilities, and periodically engage third party testing and validation. Security testing is conducted prior to any software release and on a continuous basis throughout our application and development and hosting environment. Our application is PCI-DSS compliant.
Retention of Data
Brandimpressions will retain your information only as long as it is required to deliver Services outlined within this Policy and your User Agreement, for as long as your account is active, or as needed to provide services you request. You may close your account at any time should you no longer agree to our use of your information for these purposes. In addition, our Vendors may also be required to retain and use your information in order to comply with their own policies and obligations.
